On a table saw, lock it into the mitre slot to keep long stock pressed tight against the rip fence throughout the cut. Alternatively, mount it on the fence itself to stop the workpiece lifting off the table. The angled flexible fingers allow timber to feed forward smoothly but resist it moving back towards you, helping to prevent kickback, binding and blade damage.

Setting up is quick: the built-in set-up feather shows you the correct tension, and integral T-slot fittings plus the included mitre slot adaptor let it fit tables and fences with standard 3/8" x 3/4" slots.
